The Nomad Energy Blaster is a weapon used by the Nomads. The most important advantage is the fact that it doesn't use any power.
It seems to be an attempt to configure Nomad weapon technology to be compatible with ships from the colonies. Little is known about Nomad weapons, however you can find those in Nomad Ships , Omicron Alpha, Omicron Gamma, Unknown 1 and Unknown 2, although you can't buy them anywhere.
