The Nomad Lair is an alien structure found late in the story mode. Trent, Juni and King infiltrate the lair to steal its power cell in order to activate the artifact.
The lair is in the shape of a stereotypical UFO; it is circular in shape with three rods connected to three shield generators. There are two depressions on the top and bottom where the entry and exit vents are located, protected by a shield. Nomad laser turrets are situated around the lair's circumferance, which protect the shield generators from attack.
The interior is rather compact, with numerous stone support beams and a huge windmill-thing. Adding to the danger, the power cell generates a hazardous radiation field until the player tractors it in.
